Hello my name is Chad Brandt. I am a native Texan who was born, raised, and baked in Amarillo. I have two degrees: an A.A.S. in Culinary Arts and a B.S. in Food Service Management, both from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina. I love my dog Mocha and I love creating new recipes. That's where I got the idea for Miss Mocha's Gourmet Pantry. I was in the kitchen one day making Mocha some dog treats. I like to call them cookies (Mocha seems to like that word better, too!). I gave a few to my friends and neighbors and their dogs loved them. They shared with their friends and before I knew it I was getting calls to make gourmet dog cookies!
